The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Artist's Description
Several years ago, Linda and I spent a weekend on Martha's Vineyard- the first, and so far the only time I've been there. We traveled around the island and photographed as many lighthouses as we were able to get to. This painting is from a photo I took on that visit.

My subject matter reflects three life-long passions: nature, history, and architecture. I have lived most of my life in New England. I love painting subjects from my home region, as well as from the travel that my wife, Linda and I enjoy doing together.
