This is an original painting of Geevor Tin Mine, in Cornwall, England. The mine was operational between 1911 and 1990, and is now a preserved heritage site.
I tried to capture the mine as if it was still working, and show the contrast of the gritty industrial buildings against the beautiful wind swept Cornish coast.
